JUNIOR DESIGNER

~ 2-3 years EXPERIENCE (JUNE 2026)

ARMOUR ARCHITECTURE seeks candidates for Junior Designer to support design and delivery of high-end residential projects under the direction of senior staff. Located in our inspiring, light-filled studio in San Francisco’s Lower Haight neighborhood.

Role

You’ll support projects across the firm, including but not limited to articulating design elements, documenting as-builts, preparing construction documents, preparing presentations, participating in site visits, assisting with project workflow, and researching/resourcing client and company needs. The qualified candidate will have unique exposure to multiple projects at all levels and be given the opportunity to demonstrate value and grow their role within the firm.

Required
  • ~2-3 years architecture experience (may include past internship experience)
  • Familiarity with the language and execution of high-end residential architecture
  • Demonstrated experience with large, multi-faceted projects
  • Excellent communication skills- verbal, written and graphic
  • Knowledge of SketchUp, Rhino and common office programs
  • Bachelor’s degree in architecture (minimum)
  • US-based

  • Has worked within the San Francisco Bay Area or a few other areas that typify our work
  • Knows some AutoCAD
  • Has a healthy sense of humor & diverse interests to add to our friendly, dynamic atmosphere
Schedule & LOCATION

Full-time in the Lower Haight, San Francisco - central within the city & steps from multiple transit options

COMPENSATION: Competitive salary, commensurate with experience
