Spanish Colonial Revival
Marina District, San Francisco
Steps from San Francisco’s Marina Green, this 1920’s Spanish Colonial had suffered many insensitive renovations, leaving an awkward flow with obscured bay views. Our clients tasked us with reviving the home’s period charm and reimagining its authentic design. The graceful new spaces paid homage to its original heritage while supporting their 21st century lifestyle and passion for entertaining. Rooted in the Spanish Colonial Revival period that emerged from San Francisco’s Panama Pacific International Exposition of 1915, our design featured carved doors; spiral columns and pilasters; tiled floors, walls and decks; cast ornaments; curved doorways; and stunning new vistas of the Golden Gate Bridge.
